The senator-elect representing Kano South senatorial district, Honourable Abdurrahman Kawu Sumaila, has reiterated his commitment and that of his supporters in ensuring that the Kano gubernatorial candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party for the March 18th governorship election wins with a wide margin.

The senatorial candidate stated this against the backdrop of a rumor circulating that he, Kawu Sumaila, had endorsed another candidate, Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, other than Abba Kabir Yusuf.
In a statement issued to newsmen by Media Assistant to Abdurrahman Kawu Sumaila, Abbas Adam Abbas said the rumor is unfounded and a work of mischief makers who have seen clear writing on the wall as Abba Kabir Yusuf is heading to victory.
Honourable Abdurrahman Kawu Sumaila also threatens to take legal action against any body, group, or individual found circulating such a rumor.
Senator Elect Abdurrahman Kawu Sumaila, through his media adviser, said the politician is committed to the ideals of the New Nigeria People’s Party and is loyal to its national leader, Engineer Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
The Honourable Abdurrahman Kawu Sumaila further called on his supporters in the Kano South senatorial district to come out in large numbers on the 18th of March and vote for the candidate of the NNPP, Abba Kabir Yusuf, as governor of Kano state.
