The Oba of Yoruba in Kano Engineer Muritala Alimi Otisese has call on electorates to shun electoral violence and embrace peace and prosperity.

Engineer Murtala Alimi Otisese stated this while briefing journalists during the naming ceremony of his new born baby which took place in Kano.The Oba of Yoruba in Kano who doubles as an INEC Ambassador said he will not relent in preaching for peace , not only in Kano state alone but the country and the world as a whole.

“as the election is approaching I am advising the general populace to observe the election in a peaceful manner ,I’ve told all Yoruba’s residing in Kano to ensure that they collect their PVC’s , because without it one cannot vote’

Speaking during the ceremony the chief Imam of Nuwairuddeen jumu’at Mosque sabon gari Kano Sheikh Mukaddam Abdulwahab urged the public to vote peaceful and should shun violence during the elections.

He appealed to all Nigerians to pray for the successful conduct of the forthcoming general elections .
