In another development, PRNIGERIA has expressed concerns about the abandoned Ado Bayero Road Network, at Dorayi Babba in Gwale Local Government Area, of Kano state.

The medium expressed its concerns on Wednesday during press conference in its Kano office.

It noted that the road was amongst the numerous projects approved by Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje in 2018, that despite the approval and released of multi-million naira, the project is still abandoned for over 3 years.

PRNIGERIA disclosed that several checks to find details about the company that was awarded the project proved abortive as no exact information was gotten about it.

It added that the company that was awarded with the contract are visible virtually online and in the corporate affairs commission records, while it’s non nonexistent and unregistered.

The medium’s investigation revealed that official status report generated on 31st of March, 2022 from the CAC revealed the existence of another construction company similar to the one in question, but with different names and addresses.

It said, when contacted, the company said it changed its name from Stonegate Quaries Ltd to Stonegate Engineering and Quarries Ltd which it said was the reason its search for the original name proved abortive.
