The Governoship candidate of the Action Democratic Party and member of the House of Representatives, Kano Municipal Federal Constituency ,Honourable Shaaban Ibrahim Sharada has congratulated Barrister Aisha Dankani at 60.
The candidate made this known in a statement released by the Gubernatorial Campaign Council .
Honourable Shaaban Ibrahim Sharada described Hajiya Aisha Dankani as exceptional and hardworking Woman among Nigerian women. He said she is an asset whose experience and impressive performance in the private and public sector can be utilized to propel the development of Kano and Nigeria.
Hajiya Aisha Dankani who is presently the Kano central Senatorial candidate of the Action Democratic Party in Kano is worth celebrating due to her impeccable record in the Federal civil service and different international organizations like the United Nations industrial and Development Organisation UNIDO. She was a Director in various parastatals and agencies of the federal government and was once an acting Permanent Secretary.
The Governoship candidate said that at this trying moment when good governance and active lawmaking has eluded Kano and Nigeria in general, having active ,dogged and intelligent woman like Hajiya Aisha Dankani will be a plus to the development program of any Government.
“Without any iota of doubt Barrister Aisha’s clocking the age of sixty has presented her in a position of one of the best technocrats produced by Kano and Nigeria since her graduation in 1985 from the Faculty of Law Bayero University Kano. She also worked as a Magistrate, Director in the Presidency, Office of the SGF, Ministry of Women affairs, departments of Planning research and statistics among others.

The Kano Governorship hopeful said if ADP comes to power in 2023, with Hajiya Aisha Dankani as Senator.Then the best policies on women, children and other developmental issues will be at the forefront of his government policies.
