Late Rabi Shehu Sharada

Kano ADP Governorship Candidate and member representing Municipal federal Constituency in the House of representatives Shaaban Ibrahim Sharada has received with shock the passing away of an astute woman politician in Kano, Hajiya Rabiu Shehu Sharada.

Shaaban Ibrahim Sharada in a statement issued to newsmen by his Gubernatorial Campaign Council said the late political sage is a dogged fighter who stood for the right of the common man in Kano and Northern Nigeria.

According to the candidate who is aspiring to lead the most populous Nigerian state said the likes of Rabi Shehu Sharada can only be compared to pre- independence women politicians like the Late Gambo Sawaba who passed away at the beginning of the 21st century and Mrs Bola Ogunboh, the running mate of late Malam Aminu Kano during the 1983 Presidential elections.

Unlike students and ASUU, what will Nigerian Government lose?
“I was thrown into tears when I heard of her death because this is a woman who believed for the enforcement of the right of the common man and she has been telling truth to power and losing her at this critical time of our nation’s history calls for sober reflection”

Iam out of words to express my grief on the passing away of this illustrious daughter of Kano that has been strictly ideological in her political beliefs and ideas for future generation to use and exploit for the benefit of the common man”

The Governoship hopeful urges the family, relatives and the political class to consider the death of Hajiya Rabiu Shehu Sharada as a test which every human being will as promised by our creator the Almighty Allah in the Glorious Quran”

He also extended his condolence to the family and from his teeming supporters and people of Municipal federal Constituency and Sharada ward for the lost of a patriotic Nigerian politician and prayed to Allah to grant her eternal rest among his chosen servants”
