<p dir="ltr">In his response, the PDP presidential candidate thanked the groups for recognizing and identifying with him and the PDP. He stated that his mission in Kano is not to campaign but to receive Shakarau who has made the bold and right decision to rejoin the party.</p>

<p dir="ltr">He noted that the country had made mistakes in the past by wrong electoral choices but now has an opportunity to correct them by voting PDP. He promised that if the people voted the PDP, he would initiate far-reaching policies that would bring back industrial and commercial activities for which Kano is known for in the past.</p>
