Gusau Declares For NFF President

Ahead of the forthcoming NFF elective congress, Chairman and executive board member of Nigeria Football Federation, Alh. Ibrahim Musa Gusau has formally announced to his constituents his intention to run for NFF President.

Gusau made the pronouncement on Wednesday  while briefing news men at a media parley in his home town of Gusau, the Zamfara State Capital.

Gusau further stated he deem it fit to officially inform his constituents as he hold their mandate and the need to follow due process is pertinent in his aspiration to succeed out going NFF President, Amaju Melvin Pinnick.

The Chairman Security Committee of the NFF said after wide consultations and  advice from critical football stakeholders, he has eventually decided to throw his hat on the ring to vie for the apex position in football administration in the country.

The Zamfara State FA Chairman also promised to bring his wealth of experience as he vowed to priotize youth developmental football across the nation.

According to him,  reinvigorating football from grassroot is key and will be among his administration’s top priority.

Ibrahim Gusau  previously a member of CAF’s  CHAN organising committee was in April appointed as a new member of CAF’s Youth Organizing Committee saddled with the responsibility of organising AFCON U17, U20, and U23.
