AZMAN Air services says it has completed the airlift of about 7300 Pilgrims back to Nigeria.

The coordinator of Pilgrims Nuraddin Aliyu stated this in an interview with newsmen in Kano.

Nuraddin Aliyu said they have also airlifted 2500 Pilgrims who follow the international route to Saudi Arabia and to Nigeria after the completion of the religious rites.

“We have done that successfully without hitches “said Nuraddin Aliyu

He added that the Pilgrims transported by AZMAN Air include those from Kano,Sokoto Kebbo,Gombe,Bauchi,Borno,Kaduna,Yobe and others.

He said the reason for some of the hitches recorded in Kano was due to the inability to accept us by the authorities.

Nuraddin Aliyu added that despite the problem they wrote to the National Hajj commission of Nigeria to resolve the lacuna but to no avail because time is not on their side.
