The Kano resident Electoral commissioner who presides the Kano Gubernatorial Inconclusive elections in March 23 2019 Professor Risqua Arabu Shehu Concludes his five year tenure on August 15.
The resident Electoral commissioner made the statement during the conferment of ambassador of peace to the Oba Yoruba Kano Engineer Murtala Alimi Otisese at the INEC office in Kano..
Professor Risqua Arabu Shehu asked for forgiveness from colleagues and other staff of the commission noting that he thanks the almighty Allah for making it to see to the end of his tenure.
He also thank Almighty Allah for being alive to see to the end of the tenure in Kano.
According to Risqua the job is very challenging and prayed for the incoming REC to succeed as the 2023 general elections draws nearer.
The REC is expected to handover the affairs of the commission in Kano on August 16 2022.
