Ayrah Media Concept Limited, publisher of Daily News 24 has inaugurated its Editorial Board Members.
Recall that Ayrah Media appointed Baba Halilu Dantiye, mni, FNGE to chair the Editorial Board with a Senior Lecturer at Faculty of Communications, Dr Sule Yau Sule, FNIPR, Lecturer at Department of Mass Communications, Usman Dan Fodio University Sokoto, Idris Mohammed, Broadcaster and Media Consultant, Khadija Bawas, and Marketer, Salihu Tanko Yakasai as members on January, 4th, 2022.
The inauguration held at Ayrah Media Headquarters in Kano on Tuesday.
The establishment of the Editorial Board is part of the brand’s move to be counted amongst the best and a leading light in the media industry with the broadest reach and ensuring timely and unique developmental content through innovation backed by excellent service delivery, highly motivated human capital and the latest technology.
Ayrah Media Director, Abba Rabiu Abdullahi who was represented disclosed that “the main aim of establishing Daily News 24 is to contribute towards mitigating fake news in the society.
“Others include abiding by the constitution and the code of ethics of journalism and providing human angle contents that would bring about greater development to the society.
“We want to make a difference.
“Of course, that cannot be achieved without setting standards and engaging the best brains in the industry to oversee our activities, advise and caution us when we go wrong, review our stories and produce editorials.
“Thus, some of the reasons why the team decided to look around and nominate the Editorial Board Members so that they can help in making our dreams come true.” He stated.
The board chairman, Baba Halilu Dantiye, mni, FNGE during his acceptance speech expressed delight at the development and pledged to work diligent alongside the board members for the desired goal of establishing the platform to be achieved.
