The emir of Gumel Alhaji Ahmed Muhammad Sani has promised to support the move made by Jigawa concern citizens to address the challenges of manpower gaps in the state.
The royal father made the promised when the group paid an advocacy visit to him at his place in Gumel.
He explained that, shortage of manpower in civil services particularly in some critical sectors like education and health could lead to the collapse of civil services in general.
The emir who lamented massive retirement from service in the state, promised to meet governor Muhammad Abubakar Badaru and discuss issues related to manpower Gap in the state.
“We cannot keep quiet about manpower issues in the state, so we will meet the governor, I know our governor will never allow the system to collapse as listening governor”,he said.
He then, prayed for the success of the group, describing the effort as patriotic move for the development of Jigawa and it’s future generations.
While making her remarks earlier, the leader of the advocacy team under the platform of Jigawa Concern citizens, Hajiya Aisha said, the team is in the palace to remind his highness on the manpower gaps in civil service and solicit for his support towards addressing the challenges.
