Gov Badaru Donates 65,900 Riyals to Jigawa Pilgrims

As Jigawa state Pilgrims completed their Hajj exercise in Holy land, Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar of the state has donated sixty five thousand and nine hundred Riyals (R65,900) to the Pilgrims.

The acting executive secretary of the state Pilgrims welfare board Malam Mustapha Umar revealed this in a press statement distributed to newsmen in Dutse.

He said, the governor who is also the leader of the state Pilgrims ( Amiru Hajji) presented the donation when he visited the hotels where the state Pilgrims Lodged.

Malam Mustapha explained that, the gift was aimed at strengthen the feeding packages of the Pilgrims as preparation has gone far for airlifting them back to Nigeria.

Malam Umar added that, each of the 650 state Pilgrims will received one hundred Riyals (R100) out of the money donated.

” the governor has also expressed appreciation to the state Pilgrims for their fervent prayer for peace and progress of Jigawa state and Nigeria” the statement revealed.

Speaking on behalf of the pilgrims, Muhammad Idris and Habiba Muhammad thanked the Governor for his concern to the welfare of the state pilgrims in Nigeria and at the holy land.
