As it is the tradition of Hawan Nassarawa Emir of Kano Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero for the first time since he ascended the throne on March 9 2020 will not visit Kano state Government House.
A reliable source informed NIGERIAN TRACKER that the reason why Emir Bayero Will not visit government house was due to governor Ganduje’s absence.
The source said the governor went to Abuja while his Deputy Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna is in Saudi Arabia for the pilgrimage.
Traditional Hawan Nassarawa was created around 1906 by Emir of Kano Muhammad Abbas where he visit Kano colonial resident two days after Sallah to pay homage.
Successive Emirs from 1906 to date continued with the tradition even after colonial masters handed over the baton to Nigerians where a governor replaced the resident.
