<p>I have never met him but he or his short web series inspired me.</p>
<p>He was more of reformist than a materialist in ideology. He superimposed religion more than entertainment though Izzar So contains both elements. He brought a new movie genre on World Hausa YouTube, especially when Izzar So culminates as the most viewed Hausa web series movie.</p>
<p>Until his death, Bakori TV, the channel on which popular movie, Izzar So is viewed remained among the top ones if not top in the number of subscribers and earns more rapid subscription than any other Hausa channel globally. <p>He produced it as religious-themed celebration Hausa movie on YouTube after what Nigerian first leader Hausa author, Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa did more than half a century when he authored Shaihu Umar, hence Mustafa Waye pioneered in the movie and as a fresh Hausa genre.</p>
<p>Izzar So goes to the extent to open the door for the drastically growing influx Hausa YouTube web series putting the DVD in the declining position.</p>

<p>Director is the leader of the movie but the creative writer, in this case, the script writer with whom concept the film project takes the precept and follows is recognised in a position ahead of the director who inevitably consults the script to direct the artistes, even if the original concept might not be the brainchild of the script writer.</p>
<p>That means when the writer becomes the director of the film, there must be more cohesive execution of the film project pertaining the translation of the idea from script to screen.</p>
<p>I want to reaffirm to the world that Nura Mustafa Waye was the script writer, director and producer of Izzar So until his demise. Everything was his, the film was exciting and entertaining with holding suspense ss every episode pauses.</p>
<p>Many creative writers would, out of experience, agree and reason with me that they see the occurrence in the eyes of their minds when they create and write. This makes them good directors. Writers make good directors.</p>
<p>It is a case study of the Hausa movies when some movies, even with the famous directors do not prosper without the pen of some notable script writers, hence most movies do not prosper because of the lack of good writers.</p>
<p>It is inarguably believed writer knows the story better than the director, hence writers owning an eye in their minds with which they see the story happening when writing it. This idea I believe many readers can ascertain for they share similar eyes with the writer when reading a creative story. Don&#8217;t you?</p>
<p>This mind&#8217;s eye is too abstract and the story or idea floats in it. Think over it. Even the living being eyes (especially human) copy and paste on a blank paper when fine artist draws a person they know even in the person&#8217;s absence. That is why we have &#8216;identikit picture&#8217; that which experts draw a missing person who their describer simply describes even without making a contact with the person described to them. They only need the description, a pen and a white blank sheet, and the person is drawn exactly (but according to the description of the describer).</p>
<p>Even the camera experts describe it as an electronic eye, perhaps because it captures.</p>
<p>Izzar So was so a wonderful story with which the human mind endeavours to issue. It features the astuteness, uprightness, piety, contentement , love of the Prophet.</p>
<p>Writers are proud of themselves and of you Malam Nura Mustafa Waye.<br />
RIP veteran director. You made an epoch, you left a legacy and a milestone.</p>
