<p>A former Director of Army public relations Brigadier General Sani Kukasheka Usman posted the announcement on his verified Facebook page.</p>
<p>The statement reads as follows</p>
<p>&#8216;Inna lil lah wa inna ilahirrajiun! The death has<br />
occurred of Colonel Musa Shehu (rtd), a former Military Administrator of Rivers and Plateau States. He died today morning at his residence in Abuja. He will be buried according to Islamic injunctions after janaza prayer at Apo Legislative Quarters Mosque, Apo, Abuja by 1.00pm today. May Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him aljannah firdausi, and give the family the courage and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, amen.&#8221;</p>

<p>NIGERIAN TRACKER learnt that Colonel Musa Shehu was among the second generation of military administrators appointed by former Head of state late General Sani Abacha in 1996.</p>
<p>He was transferred to Plateau state when General Abdulsalami Abubakar took over after the death of General Sani Abacha.</p>
<p>Between 2020 and 2021 quite a number of military administrators who served under the administration of late General Sani Abacha have died.</p>
<p>They are Colonel Dominic Oneya of Kano state, Colonel Ibrahim Aliyu of Jigawa state and Colonel Aminu Isa Kontagora of Kano state, Group Captain Ibrahim Kefas of Cross River state.</p>
<p>Others are Police commissioner Dabo Aliyu of Yobe state,Police commissioner Mustafa Ismail of Kwara and Adamawa states and Navy Captain Anthony Oyearugblem of Ondo state .</p>
