Barring any last minute change the Presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso may pick former governor of Cross River state Donald Duke or Governor of Rivers state Nyesom Wike.

A source told NIGERIAN TRACKER that the NNPP presidential candidate is meeting with critical stakeholders from the south south and south east on how how to stage a merger that will give APC and PDP a fight for their money.
If Nyesom Wike agree he may merge with Kwankwaso and face PDP and APC Presidential candidates.
Another source told this newspaper that Kwankwaso is also in touch with Labour party presidential candidate Peter Obi for a possible merger but Peter Obi is insisting to retain his Presidential ticket and Kwankwaso emerge as the running mate which is giving the talk another stalemate.
