Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, Alhassan Ado Doguwa, has won the All Progressives Congress APC ticket for the seventh time without any contention.

The House Leader clinched the ticket unopposed during the party primaries held at the Tudunwada Local Government Secretariat under the supervision of Honourable Maigida Adamu Dal, the returning officer who led four other members to conduct the exercise.

In his acceptance speech, Doguwa thanked the voters for reposing confidence in him and promised not to disappoint them.

Alhassan Ado Doguwa, Sardaunan Rano’s biggest political ambition is to become the Speaker of the House of Representatives if elected come 2023 due to his bulk of parliamentary experience and an unpresidential cognate legislative dexterity.

As the potential speakership aspirant of the 10th session of the Federal Legislature, Honourable Doguwa would be the highest-ranking member from Northern Nigeria if re-elected.

Meanwhile, constituents of Tudunwada/Doguwa have staged a peaceful rally to celebrate the emergence of Alhassan Ado Doguwa as winner of the APC Primaries.

They converged on major roads singing songs to show solidarity with the Majority Leader.
