Kano State Governor Dr.Abdullahi Umar Ganduje says the attributes of pedigree, vision and astuteness the Ekiti State Governor Dr.Kayode Fayemi possessed prepares him to handle any leadership position in the country.
“Your antecedents are fantastic because you are among those that makes one to be proud to be in All Progressives Congress he said”.
He stated this on thursday during a consultation visit to Kano by APC Presidential Aspirant and Chairman Nigeria’s Governor’s Forum to engage with the delegates at the Government House.
Represented by his deputy Dr.Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, the Governor added that the APC in Kano would not forget the contribution,solidarity and support given by Dr.Fayemi to ensure its victory during the rerun election in 2019.
“You are the only Governor that came to identify with us during the rerun election, we are still very grateful he said ”

Earlier, The Governor of Ekiti State Dr.Kayode Fayemi said he was in Kano to solicit for support and engage with the party leaders and delegates.

“I am a founding member of the APC who has served in different capacities therefore I came to you with requisite experience”.
“I am here to talk to you about my vision for a new Nigeria so that you could place me on the scale of people that you understand have mission for development therefore I urge you to join hands with me in tackling the challenges bedevilling the country Fayemi said”.
