Chief Imam Of Bompai Urges FG To End ASUU Strike

The Chief Imam of Bompai rock Jumuat Mosque Malam Yushau Yusuf Abdurrauf has urge the federal government of Nigeria to end the ongoing strike embarked upon by the Academic staff union of universities.

Malam Yushau Yusuf Abdurrauf made the plea while delivering the Eidul fitri sermon at the Bompai Eid ground in Kano North Western Nigeria.

Malam Yushau Yusuf Abdurrauf said strike kills education in toto and the need to address the grievances of universities teachers once and for all become necessary.

The federal government is supposed to end the strike at all ,it is very essential as children are at home doing nothing.

According to the Chief Imam no nation prosper with epileptic system of university education.

He further prayed for return of peace to states affected by banditry.

Those that attended the eid prayers at the Bompai Rock Mosque include former Head of Directorate of military intelligence Brigadier General Halliru Akilu retired, Ambassador Aminu Dalhatu , Senator Rufai Sani Hanga and the wife of Kano state Deputy Governor Mrs Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna among thousand of Muslims.
