A former commissioner of Budget and planning in Kano during the Rabiu Kwankwaso administration Dr Yusuf Bello Dambatta has bought the Peoples Democratic Party gubernatorial nomination form in Abuja.
Dambatta who served as a member of the state executive council as commissioner of Budget and subsequently as that of Land holds a doctorate degree from Nottingham Trend University and is an alumnus of Bayero University Kano.
The national organising Secretary of the PDP Captain Umar Nature and other party executives received the aspirant and expressed their satisfaction with the way more eligible and credible people are joining the race in Kano.
The candidate will align it out with other aspirants who have shown their interest for the number one seat including former chief of staff and commissioner for water resources Dr Yunusa Dangwani who alongside Dambatta chose to remain in PDP after their former boss Engineer Rabiu Kwankwaso defected to another party the NNPP.
