<p>The Emir of Dutse Alhaji Nuhu Muhammad Sunusi has endorsed Minister of transportation Rotimi Amaechi for president in the forthcoming 2023 general election.</p>
<p>The Emir made the endorsement when the Minister paid visit to him at his palace in Dutse the state capital of Jigawa.</p>
<p>He explained that, issues of insecurity, economy, corruption and drug abuse remain major problems of present Nigeria, therefore the need for competent and qualitative person like Ameachi will address the challenges.</p>

<p>&#8220;I have confidence on Amaechi looking at his experiences as two times speaker, ex-governor and Minister and have quality to face real challenges&#8221;, he said.</p>
<p>The Emir who described Ameachi as true Nigerian, endorsed him to run for president in the forthcoming general election.</p>
<p>While making his remarks, The Minister Rotimi Amaechi said, he is in the Dutse palace to pay homage and introduce his ambition to Dutse emirate council for blessing.</p>
<p>Amaechi from Dutse palace proceeded to government house where he briefed governor Muhammad Abubakar Badaru on Kano &#8211; Niger &#8211; Dutse railway project as well as informed him about his ambition to run for president in 2023.</p>
<p>Also speaking, governor Badaru said, they are still discussing at governor&#8217;s forum level before taking any decision on who will be their presidential candidate in 2023.</p>
