For the second time in less than a month the Nigerian Police have attempted to arrest the suspended chairman of Kano public complain and anti corruption commission Muhyi Magaji Rimin Gado in the early hours of Monday morning at his Yahaya Gusau’s residence at Sharada GRA in Kano.
A source privy to the situation told NIGERIAN TRACKER that the police in their 3 Hilux brand operational vehicles parked at the premises of the house.
And after the conclusion of Subhi early morning prayers while worshippers are coming out from the Mosque attached to Muhyi’s residence the police officers approached one of Muhuyi’s look alike and a neighbour who also prayed at the Mosque and asked him are you Magaji ,he said no iam not.

They asked him not to worry they are on investigation when they continue to make phone calls ,they also asked . Muhuyi’s resemblance whose name is Shazali Yahaya to give them his ID card.
Shazali replied that how can I come out with an ID card during the Subhi prayers ,and after making some phone calls the combat ready police men left the premises.
When Contacted for comment the Kano police public relations officer SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa couldn’t be reached as his GSM number is switched off.
On March 27 the police was reported to have laid siege on the residence of the suspended chairman of the Kano anti corruption commission Barrister Muhyi Magaji Rimin Gado in an attempt to arrest him but was unsuccessful as he tactically escaped.
