Kano Partners NGO’s, Agencies To Boost Girl-Child Education

The Kano State Government says its always ready to partner with Non Governmental Organizations and other relevant agencies to develop Girls Child Education in the state.

 

The State Commissioner of Finance and Economic Development, Alhaji Shehu Mahammad Na’Allah Kura revealed this during the Advocacy visit of Girls education partnership in his office.

Commissioner Na’Allah Kura was represented by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Dr. Lawan Shehu Abdulwahab during the meeting.

Alhaji NaAllah Kura stated that Kano state government has been committing alot of resources into verious segments of lives such as Education, Health, Agriculture, Women Affairs among others.

He added that the commitment of government resources in all sectors is aimed at to bring positive development especially in girls child education .

To actual that already the government plan to repairs buses to transport students from verious destinations to schools and return them back to their respective homes.

The commissioner assured civil organizations that government ready to join hands with them interns of sensetizing the public particular parents for the importance of girls education especially in rural areas in the state

Earlier, the Co-chairman of Girls education pertnership, Hajiya Mairo Bello uncovered that they are in ministry of finance to create synergy to boost girls child education in the state

She maintained that there are many programs partaining girls education which would never be actualize with out finances that is why finance ministry is critical in the project.
