<p>While addressing a gathering of supporters at his Diso ward in Gwale Local Government area of Kano state Abba Kabiru Yusuf hinted that leaving the PDP at this crucial time is very essential considering the disappointment the party did to its numerous supporters in 2019.</p>
<p>There has been speculations these days over possible defection of the Kwankwasiyya supreme leader engineer Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso to which his political godson Abba Kabiru Yusuf belongs.</p>

<p>But as 2019 inches closer the two long time political friends parted ways where Kwankwaso defected to PDP again in 2018 and presented Abba Kabir Yusuf as PDP 2019 Governorship Candidate where he won in the first round ,but with the INEC&#8217;s inconclusive arrangement Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje was returned as the winner and was sworn in for the second time as Governor on May 29 2019.</p>
