Nigeria Union Of Patriotic Journalists To Be Inaugurated

All is set for the Inauguration of Nigeria Union of patriotic journalists across the country.

The Convener and promoter of the union comrade Abba Hamisu stated this in a special interview with the NIGERIAN TRACKER.

Comrade Abba said Nigeria Union of journalists have outlived its usefulness where it no longer protect the interest of its members across the entire Nigerian space.

According to comrade Abba forming the Nigeria Union of patriotic journalists will now make young Nigerians who have the country at heart to brace up for the challenges and ensure a prosperous federal republic of Nigeria which the present NUJ failed to provide.

He said the NUJ has been turned into a sychopantic machine and tool where it only serve the interest of its executives but has forgotten its primary primary responsibility of ensuring order and good government of Nigeria.

The founding fathers of Nigeria are journalists who are highly patriotic and has the nation at heart ,people like the first ceremonial president Dr. Benjamin Nnamdi Azikiwe is a journalist who ensured the emancipation of Nigeria from the clutches of colonialism using the West African Pilot.

Another patriotic Nigerian is Malam Saadu Zungur who also contributed alot in ensuring that Nigerians get it right from the hand of colonial masters.

Comrade Abba Hamisu charge other journalists to put hand on deck in giving birth to the Nigerian Union of patriotic journalists.

There are many instances where NIGERIAN journalists have been persecuted but the reward they get from NUJ is keeping mute where the union has now been turned into a shop.

Consultation has been concluded and very soon the association will be launched which has members drawn from the 36 states of the federation.
