Kano north development forum says the appointment of Murtala Sule Garo as one of patrons of the forum had been in a long time for almost five years, is not a new appointment.
A statement by the publicity secretary of the forum Alhaji Habibu Liman Kafamai Gabasawa Local government said,Murtala Sule Garo commissioner Ministry for local government was among the patrons of the forum and the district head of Gabasawa magajin Garin Gaya Alhaji Sani Dawaki Gabasawa.
Garo and Dawaki were the patrons of the forum since it was formed five years ago by late Sarkin Ban Bichi Alhaji Wada Waziri Ibrahim.
According to the publicity sec Engineer Mustapha Kabo who denied the appointment of murtala sule Garo was not among the EXCO or stake holders of the forum.
Infact we dont know him in the forum at all.
We are advising him to desist claiming taking part of the forum or to grant any interview with press on
behalf of the forum.
Contrary to that we will direct our legal adviser to take legal action againt him.
