A Kano Gubernatorial aspirant on the platform of All Progressives Congress Malam Inuwa Waya has charged Journalists across the country to collaborate with stakeholders in combating fake news.
Inuwa Waya stated this in Kano noting that fake news is setting bad precedence for journalism profession in Nigeria and the human race.
Its very imperative for journalists in Kano to prevent the spread of fake news which goes like a wild fire and has negative consequences in the society.

On his mission for Kano if elected Governor Inuwa said he will make sure free uniforms and instructional materials are distributed free for all Kano citizens.
On the health sector the Gubernatorial aspirant promised to consolidate in ensuring the best cancer centre in Africa is realized noting that to make the sector very strong public private partnership will be implemented.
According to Inuwa Waya joining politics and retiring from public service made him very happy and he has now come back home and joined the people by frequently interacting with the people.
