A renown critic of Kano state government through local radio stations Abdulmajeed Danbilki Kwamanda has been arrested.
A source close to Abdulmajid Danbilki Kwamanda told Nigerian Tracker that the state CID called Danbilki informing him that one Magaji Yau Indabawa a personal assistant to Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has lodged a complain against Danbilki Kwamanda for defaming the character of Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
In the Radio program Danbilki was accused of corroborating what the PA to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo Mr Alwan Hassan said on receiving bribe by Former APC caretaker National Chairman Mai Mala Buni from Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje to clear way for Abdullahi Abbas to emerge as Kano APC Chairman.
The source said the CID called Danbilki Kwamanda last week and asked him to go back home and to day being 8th March he was invited again by the state CID on same allegation ,And about 3:30 PM he was taken to court 58 no-man’s-land being presided over by Aminu Gabari.
As at the time of filing this report Abdulmajeed Danbilki Kwamanda is on his way to one of the major prisons in Kano where he is expected to spend seven days.
