The outgoing New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) chairman in Kano Magaji Ibrahim said they welcome former Kano state Governor Engineer Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso into the party’s fold .
Magaji Ibrahim stated this while addressing newsmen today in Kano
Magaji Ibrahim said the party’s National working committee have agreed to dissolve all the party’s executives and agreed to form caretaker committees.
Magaji Ibrahim noted that on Tuesday the party held a meeting in Abuja where they agreed to welcome former Governor of Kano state senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso into the party and an agreement was reached to dissolve all the party executives across the federation including Kano state where he held sway as Chairman.
The NNPP chairman added that he an his Kano state Executives have no option than to bow to the party’s decision.

Magaji Ibrahim said they will work hand in hand with Engineer Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and urged all party stakeholders to exercise patience as they geared towards repositioning the party for the 2023 general elections.
When asked about the grievances of another party’s factional chairman Hisham Habib says they don’t even know about his existence as party’s chairman.
Magaji Ibrahim added that he has been at the helm of the party since 2019 and they are highly elated with the dissolution of state executives including Kano noting that the defection of Engineer Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso to the party is a welcome development.
