As a result of the brewing crisis affecting the Kannywood film industry in Kano ,a renown actor and a singer Naziru Sarkin Waka has offered a gift of two million Naira to Mama Tambaya to start business and solve some of her problems.
Naziru Sarkin Waka made the statement in a verified Facebook post .
Last week Mama Tambaya an old actress in Kano even before the debut of Kannywood told BBC Hausa service that she may soon join homeless people in Kano as the Kannywood film industry is not giving her anything more than two thousand Naira when she featured in any film.

Her confession has generated a serious controversy within the Kannywood industry where some have backed Tambaya’s claim.
In a twist Naziru Sarkin Waka backed Mama Tambayas claim where he affirmed to the world that Tambaya told the truth.
According to Naziru not only Tambaya many of the Kannywood actors are even appearing in the films free without being paid a Kobo.
