Visit: Osinbajo’s Security Details Prevents Journalists Access To Conference Venue In Kano

Security details attached to Vice President Yemi Osibanjo have barred Government House press crew and Correspondent’s chapel access to venue of National Conference of Nigerian Lawyers holding at Bayero University, Kano.

Reports Indicate that the incident happened on Tuesday even though the journalists arrived the venue in Osibanjo’s convoy.

The security personnel said nobody would be allowed to enter when the Vice President is already seated.

According to the security personnel, the members of the press should be seated before the Vice President.

The Press crew roamed the entire building to find access to the hall but all effort was in vain.

The security personnel also warned the journalists to leave the other doors where they had gathered in anticipation of being allowed into the hall.

Press Secretary to  Kano state governor Abba Anwar was also denied entry but was later allowed after a long phone call with the stakeholders.

Also,  chairman of Ungoggo local government Abdullahi Garba Ramat and Kano State Hisbah Commander Harun Sani Ibn Sina were not allowed to enter.

The Hisbah Commander and chairman of Ungoggo Local Government stayed for over one hour before leaving the gate.
