<p>Kano State House of Assembly has approved the construction of 5,000 housing units for civil servants , public servants and teachers in the state.</p>
<p>The Speaker of the Assembly, Hamisu Chidari, on Monday read at the plenary, a letter from Gov. Abdullahi Ganduje seeking for approaval in implementing the project across the 44 local government areas of the state.</p>

<p>After deliberations by the lawmakers, the house unanimously approved the housing project across the state.</p>
<p>Chidari added that, according to the letter, the project w be under the leadership of the Executive Chairman, Kano State Policy Coordination and Implementation Directorate, Alhaji Rabi’u Bichi.</p>
