Breaking:FG Stops Popular Vision FM Program “Idon Mikiya””

The Federal Government has stopped a popular Vision FM discussion programm “Idon Mikiya”.

Reports say the Federal Government of Nigeria stopped the program due to its criticism to the  government of Nigeria.

The Management of Vision Media services today in Abuja received a letter from the Federal Ministry of Information that henceforth the discussion programm “Idon Mikiya” should be stopped.

The Management as confirmed to NIGERIAN TRACKER through one of the managers Shuaibu Mungadi said the Vision Media services also received another directive from the National intelligence agency to stop further airing of “Idon Mikiya”.

 

“Idon Mikiya” is a popular discussion programm being aired by senior broadcast Journalists and owners of Vision FM from Abuja which include Umar Faruk Musa,Shuaibu Mungadi, Abubakar Kabiru Matazu.

 

Its being aired on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays in 7 stations  of Vision Media services across Nigeria.

Former GM Vision FM Denies Police Arrest

The program’s discussion is centred around governance, spending of government funds including Budget tracking and insecurity bedeviling the nation.

 

NIGERIAN TRACKER gathered that the stoppage of the programme may be associated with the criticism of the Head of Nigerias intelligence agency Amb. Ahmad Rufai Abubakar,the anchors of the program discussed his alleged incompetence in heading the national intelligence agency in which he was pissed up.
