Police Urges Public To Report Victims Of Bullet Injury

Police in Jigawa state have warned residents to report anybody seen with bullet injuries to the nearest security formation.

State Commissioner of police CP A S Tafida made the call after parading suspected kidnappers at the command headquarters in the state capital.

It was reported that the police in Jigawa state have arrested fourteen kidnappers, recovered guns and rescued one victim in an operation carried out to curb criminals activities in the state.

Police Arrests Kidnappers In Jigawa

The police Commissioner said the operation tagged as”operation flush out” was lunched by the command as a response to the increasing kidnapping activities across the state.

He said during the fire exchange some of the suspects have escaped with bullets injuries.

He therefore Urged people of the state,hospitals to be cautious and report any body seen with bullet injuries to the nearest security office.

Tafida said the suspects were responsible for almost all the kidnapping activities in the state including the recent one where they kidnapped a business man and killed two police officers in Kwalam town.
