Police in Jigawa state have arrested 14 kidnappers who have recently killed two police officers and kidnapped a business man in Jigawa state.
State Commissioner of police CP Aliyu Sale Tafida stated this while parading the suspects on Thursday at Police headquarters in Dutse, the state capital.
It was reported that Gunmen have ambushed a police patrol team, killed two officers and set a patrol vehicle ablaze in Kwalam town, Taura Local Government Area.
He said the arrest was recorded in an operation flush out carried out by the command to fight against all forms of crimes and criminalities in the state.

He explained during the operation that three hideouts were raided in Dajin Maizuwo, Dan Gwanki and Yandamo villages in Sule-Tankarkar local Government.
Tafida said during the operation ten Male and four females suspects were arrested out of which two injured as a result of fire exchange with police men.
He said two AK47 of the two police men killed recently was recovered, one General purpose machine Gun(GPMG) and nine magazine and 308 live ammunitions of 7.6mm are recovered.
