The Emir of Kano Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero has emphasised the need for all hands to be on deck towards impacting proper health care service delivery especially in semi urban areas.
Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero made the statement Sunday at a community mobilisation outreach held at Panisau, Ungogo local government area.
The programme was organized by the state government in collaboration with Kano Emirate committee on health as well as the United Nations children funds UNICEF.
The event also featured on maternal and child health, routine immunization intensification, COVID-19 vaccination enhancement and zero dose implementation in five local government areas of the state.
Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero lamented on how the community is always faced by health challenges especially in terms polio vaccines, malnutrition maternal mortality.

He appreciated the efforts of kano state government through primary health care management Board, the unicef and other stakeholders for unflinching support and intervention with a view of having a healthy society.
He reaffirmed that kano Emirate and it’s peers will not relent in its strive in order to protect the lives of the teeming population.
On his part, the state commissioner for Health Dr Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa who extensively on the present administration commitment rendering deserved health services to the good people of Kano said, the rationale behind the outreach was to bring rural dwellers closer and access to basic health programmes so as to enable them to enjoy more dividend of democracy.
Others who spoke at the occasion include the representative of the Unicef in Nigeria Dr Moulud Warfa, a member of the health committee of the kano Dr Sha’awa Sa’Id Muhammad and the chairman of ungogo local government council Engr Abdullahi Garba Ramat.
Highlights of the event include the presentation of gifts to individuals who excelled on various assigned responsibilities while the Koroso Dancers entertained the large crowd.
