The ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) reconciliation meeting will resume tomorrow, with a committee proposing a 50-50 sharing formula for state party leadership, according to an insider who confides to newsmen.
According to an insider, the Shekarau-led faction wants more time to deliberate on some of the tabled agreements before taking a decision.
Each of the factions has led a claim to the seat of party chairman and gubernatorial slot as part of the bargains for reconciliation.

The meeting was presided over by Mai Mala Buni, Executive Governor of Yobe State who double as the Chairman of the APC Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, and his Jigawa state counterpart, Alh. Abubakar Badaru, as well as other key stakeholders, in Abuja.
The meeting was part of the party’s efforts to reconcile disgruntled members ahead of the upcoming National Convention.
The Buni committee is determined to resolve outstanding issues in order to present a more united front at the convention.
Both Ganduje- and Shekarau-led faction of the APC held parallel party congress, resulting in the formation of two warring factions in the state.
Governor Ganduje initially mocked Shekarau’s faction at the start of the twist of events, calling them names, before lately making a U-turn and openly called for reconciliation.
