President Muhammad Buhari have visited the family of former Head of state Chief Ernest Shonekan and condole the family over the death of first and only Nigeria’s Head of interim National government.
President Buhari visited the family at their Lagos residence after inaugurating projects in Ogun state.

Chief Ernest Shonekan died on the 11th of January after a brief Illness in Lagos at the age of 85.
Reports indicate that prior to the President’s visit security was tightened around the residence of the former Head of state.
