Dr Ahmad Muhammad Ibrahim died at Aminu Kano teaching Hospital after a brief illness.
His grand daughter told BBC Hausa service about the death of her grand father.
Dr Ahmad’s funeral prayer will be conducted after the jumaat prayers at Darul Hadith Mosque located in Tudun Yola Kano metropolis .
