A chieftain of the All Progressives congress in Kano Alhaji Abdulmajeed Danbilki Kwamanda said the APC national caretaker committee led by Governor of Yobe state Mai Mala Buni is backing the faction of Alhaji Ahmadu Haruna Zago as chairman of the APC in Kano.
Danbilki Kwamanda made the statement during an interview with Vision FM monitored in Kano.
Abdulmajeed Danbilki Kwamanda said when Mai Mala Buni and Senator Ahmad Lawan came to Kano on 1st January 2022 to attend a wedding and condolence ,the national caretaker chairman while greeting senator Barau Jibril and Malam Shekarau asked them to remove their facemasks.

On removing their facemasks the national caretaker chairman Mai Mala Buni told senator Barau and Malam Shekarau that we are solidly behind you,said Danbilki Kwamanda.
Since October 16 the APC leadership in Kano has been enmeshed in crisis between Ahmadu Haruna Zago backed by Malam Ibrahim Shekarau and Abdullahi Abbas of Governor Ganduje’s side.
A federal High court in Abuja has upheld the party congress held by G7 faction on 16th October which produces Alhaji Ahmadu Haruna Zago as APC chairman in Kano.
