First Nassarawa State Military Administrator Emerges Zamfara PDP Chairman

Zamfara state chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has elected  former military administrator of Nasarawa State retired colonel Bala Mande as party chairman in the State.

Bala Mande emerged the new PDP State chairman along with party executives during the Congress held at Command guest house in Gusau on Monday evening.

Retired colonel Mande,a grass root politician was the Zamfara PDP Caretaker committee chairman who also held many positions since he started politics.

The new PDP Chairman while addressing newsmen said members of the party were firm and committed to the unity and development of the party in the state.

He appealed to the PDP faithful in the state to disregard any intimidation from any group or individual  and continue with their lawful  struggle in the State.

He expressed satisfaction with the level of commitment by the party stakeholders in the state, added that PDP will remain one and would make more impact in the state politics.

“I must this time around,work towards the success of PDP  I Will actively run the affairs of the party ,assured that we remain all ss one family”.
He stressed that Zamfara state has been a PDP stronghold and would regain its stolen mandate, Godwilling.

Among those elected are Deputy chairman Professor kabiru Jabaka,Secretary Faruk Ahmed Rijiya, Youth leader Abdulsalam Salmanu,woman leader Hajiya Madina and the post of publicity secretary went to Abba Bello.

The election was supervised by the officials of Independent National Electoral Commission and official from PDP headquarters Abuja Hon.Jibril Abubakar.
