BIKOBA Holds AGM ,Elects New Exco

Birnin Kudu old boys association BIKOBA has held it’s annual general meeting and elected new executives that will steer the affairs of BIKOBA in the next three years

Delivering his farewell address at the occasion held at Murtala Muhammad Library complex in Kano the outgoing President Pharmacist Nuhu Isa Abdullahi said one of the greatest challenge they faced during their administration was water supply in the school.

Pharmacist Nuhu Isa Abdullahi said during their stewardship a solar powered motorized borehole alongside three additional hand pump wells were constructed which solved water shortage in the school.

Pharmacist Abdullahi added that due to lack of maintenance water shortage has again resurfaced in the school with almost 2000 students paying the price.

The New elected executives of BIKOBA are

Jaafar Usman, Turakin Gaya, of class 1966 was elected Prrsident

Sani Ibrahim Khalid ,Vice President I

Sale Ibrahim Dawakin Kudu,Vice President II

Secretary Umar Garba Kabara, Secretary

Maje Kurawa was elected Asst Secretary

Attahiru Gwangwazo Treasurer

Mahmud Ibrahim Kwari was elected publicity secretary while Abdurrahman Naiya emerges Asst publicity Secretary.

 

Others are Usman Garba Financial Secretary,Muhammad Sani asst publicity secretary ,Bala Baba Zandam Auditor.

In his acceptance speech the newly elected chairman of BIKOBA Alhaji Jaafar Sani Turakin Gaya of class 1966 promised to carry everybody along and promised not to let them down.

Alhaji Jaafar Sani said BIKOBA has become a big family where they have taken a step to ensure class chapters are working.

In a remark the Governor of Kano state Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje represented by the secretary to the state Government Alhaji Usman Alhaji said BIKOBA We have followed a good step in electing it’s leaders.

The Governor urge the New elected leaders to be better than their predecessors.

Alhaji Usman Alhaji said he is sure the new BIKOBA President will make the association proud.
