Governor of Jigawa State Muhammadu Badaru Abubakar says President Muhammadu Buhari has saved Nigeria’s Governors from shame and public disgrace.
Badaru stated this at the official Commissioning and handing over of Kano -Maiduguri Road Section II of Shuwarin-Azare in Jigawa State.
He said all the achievements made by the Governors of the 36 states would not have been possible without the support and assistance from president Buhari.
Badaru explained that without Buhari’s support Governors would find it difficult to fulfilled all the promises they made to their people before elections.
” when we were sworn in about 24 to 26 states are not able to pay salaries but he supported us with bail out, he also supported each state with N10b to start infrastructure”

” He paid us all the monies spend in Federal roads and other works, he paid Paris clubs deductions to states and local Government”
” Buhari also supported us with budget support and just recent he approved N18b to all the 36 states to augment the effects of loan deductions”
Badaru said without these supports I and other Governors may not be able to stand before you because of shame, with the support we are now be able to deliver on our promises and mandates”
He advised Nigerians to appreciate Buhari and continue to pray for Allah SWA to bring to an end the insecurity situation in the country.
“We in Jigawa we know only God has the power to solve this problems, that is why we believe on praying to the leaders instead of abusing them or putting blames on them” he stated.
