Kumbotso Local Government Area of Kano State, has launched a security Marshall comprising 100 vigilantees and hunters to support the Police in ensuring security in the area.
The Chairman of the Local Government Area, Alhaji Hassan Garban Kauye Farawa, made the announcement during a stakeholder meeting on security in the area, adding that each Marshall is entitled to a monthly allowance of N20,000.

Farawa also said the local government council will build an area command office while donating a new vehicle to Ja’oji Police division and Ten motorcycles to some selected people to assist Security agencies in gathering information to bolster the security forces in their fight against criminal activities in the local government.
Muhammad, reports that the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, who was represented by Kumbotso district head, Alhaji Ahmad Ado Bayero, said all traditional rulers in the area would contribute towards ensuring security in the area.
