Aggrieved youths in Sharada quarters in Kano last Monday carried out mob action against the executive chairman, of Kano Municipal Council KMC, Faizu Al Findinki.
Our correspondent reports that the angry youths were provoked by the action of the council boss, who allegedly arrived the site of a constituency project , proceeded to unearth the project sign post and allegedly vandalized parts of the drainage work , on going at Kawanar Kasuwa in KMC.

It was gathered that the ongoing project is a constituency projected credited to the member representing the area in the federal house of representatives, Sha’aban Sharada.
It was gathered that the provocative action allegedly carried out by the council boss is not unconnected with the ongoing internal crisis ravaging the ruling APC in the state.
The angry residents had destroyed a posh vehicle suspected to belong to the local government chairman, in reaction to the moves by the council chairman to frustrate the drainage project, which seemed to be popular with the inhabitants of the community.
The supporters of the APC leaders then engaged in a free for all fight , resulting into the damage of properties and constituting threat to lives and properties in the densely populated community.
A resident confirmed that the mob embarked on the unfettered use of dangerous weapons to express their disgust over the actions attributed to Mr Al Findiki.
Supporters of the LG chairman also wedge the attack on their leader , thus leading to a chaotic situation in Sharada quarters and its environs.
Our correspondent gathered that anti riot policemen were summoned to quell and return the situation to normalcy.
“police arrived and they started shooting sporadically, we all scampered for our safety.” A resident told this reporter.
