<p>A stalwart of All progressive Congress (APC) in Zamfara State Dr Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi has snubbed<br />
supporters of former Governor Abdulaziz Yari for boycotting ward congresses in the State, says court has not stop us from congresses in the State.</p>
<p>Dr Shinkafi who addressed press conference on Sunday in Gusau spoke on political situation in the State,</p>

<p>He debunked mischief and concocted report from an online media, that reported parallel ward congresses in the State,&#8221;the are of adhoc and analog politics is over,we are in a digital world, fabricating news is over&#8221;.</p>

<p>&#8220;As per as I&#8217;m concerned there was no APC faction in the State,the ward congresses was conducted and it&#8217;s over,we have done it and it&#8217;s concluded&#8221;.</p>
<p>&#8220;Our ward congresses <a href="https://www.ushistory.org/gov/6a.asp">is genuine and constitutional</a>,there was no parallel ward Congress in the State, a part from the one organized by recognized party structure in the State&#8221;.</p>
<p>Dr Shinkafi further explained that there was no court order that stopped them from holding the Congress in the State.</p>
<p>He said Senator Kabiru Marafa faction is not existing as par as he is concerned ,there was reconciliation and we all agreed.</p>
<p>&#8220;After 9 months now Senator Marafa resurface and came out to say there was faction which I believe is not in existence in the State&#8221;.</p>
<p>According to him, Senator Kabiru Marafa faction of APC did not exist any more &#8220;who is his factional APC State Chairman,shinkafi asked.</p>
<p>He stressed that former Governor Abdulaziz Yari has held joint reconciliatory meetings with most of the members of the defunct G8 in Kaduna and Abuja.</p>
<p>&#8220;How manage for the purpose of causing confusion deceit and political violence in the State within 24 hours Kabiru Marafa&#8217;s faction resurfaced, played with the intelligence of their uneducated followers&#8221;.</p>
<p>It cauld be recalled that in a statement issued in Gusau, on Saturday by the Chairman APC Publicity Committee of the Yari’s APC faction, Ibrahim Birnin-Magaji called supporters to shun the ward congresses in the State.</p>
<p>“You know, we have court order that stopped the party congresses in the state, pending the determination of the Court on the dissolution of the state party executives by the National Caretaker Committee of the APC&#8221;.</p>
<p>“Our leader, Alhaji Abdul’aziz Yari has directed all APC members in the state, under the APC caretaker committee led by Alhaji Lawal Liman to boycott the ward, local government and state congresses organised by Governor Matawalle’s APC faction holding today, Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021.&#8221;</p>
