<p>The consultant, Neuro surgeon and the team leader for the surgery Dr Musbahu Ahmed disclosed that the surgery was conducted following the donation of the equipment for the spine surgery by a philanthropist last year and it&#8217;s <a href="https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S1130862120302552">installation by the hospital management.</a></p>

<p>He explained that the patient was referred to the neurology surgical clinic of the hospital with an abnormalities of the spine about a year ago and due to non availability of that equipment the patient was again referred to another health facility. Upon there, the patient discovered that she cannot afford the funds for the payment of the surgery fees therefore came back to Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital Kano for another option , fortunately for her here is where we are today.</p>
