The Coalition of Arewa Social Media Forum for PDP, ASMEFO, has announced its support for the candidature of Hon. Muhd Kadade Suleiman as the next national Youth Leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

The chairman of the association, Alhaji Yusuf Abubakar, disclosed this to newsmen in Kaduna on Saturday.

Abubakar said all the leaders of the group in 19 states, including the Federal Capital Territory, had agreed to support Hon. Muhd Kadade Suleiman as the next national youth leader of the PDP.

Muhd Kadade Suleiman, 25, is vying for the PDP national youth leadership seat in next week’s election. The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has already earmarked the seat for the North West Zone, specifically Kaduna State, where Hon. Kadade hails from.

“In our situation the rhythm of the music has changed, so the dance steps need to change as well. And since it’s a youth issue, we have to support the young man to succeed, because everyone knows the 25-year-old Hon. Kadade is the right man for the job.”

“That is why we call on all ASMEFO members wherever they are to support Kadade Suleiman’s candidacy as the national youth leader of our great Party, the PDP,” said Yusuf Abubakar, the national chairman of ASMEFO.

While addressing the gathering of youth groups at the Association’s Secretariat in Kaduna, Alhaji Yusuf Abubakar added that they have taken a closer look at the leadership qualities of Muhammad Kadade Suleiman, and therefore all youths across the country should rally behind his candidature in order to pave ways for more youths participation and inclusion in politics in the country.

“There is no doubt that, most of the PDP’s supporters are young people, so it is a great achievement to have such a young man to hold this National Youth leadership seat.”

“In the past we have witnessed how people over the age of sixty held this office, therefore it’s not too late for the youths to unite as one formidable body in order to take what belongs to them – the PDP National Youth leadership seat.”

“This is where the need to rally behind the young man, Hon. Muhammad Kadade Suleiman, to lead us success, begins.” He added.
