<p>Gidauniyar Alheri Community Health Centre Garangamawa quarters in Gwale local government area has offered medical services to over 200,000 persons.</p>
<p>The founder of the the hospital, former Minister of National Planning Dr Shamsudden Usman disclosed this at the opening of renovated and expanding Gidauniyar Alheri Health Care Center and the Gidauniyar Alheri Microfinance Bank on Saturday.</p>

<p>The services include antenatal clinic to over 20,000 women, over 20,000 child birth and immunization to over 100,000 under five children.</p>

<p>Other services offered include OPD Consultation to over 60,000 women and children, as well as pharmacy services to over 50,000 people.</p>
<p>He added that with the contribution of Medicins Sans Frontieres (MSF) the health facility will expand it services to cover more women.</p>
<p>The SMF joined the hospital to address high rate of maternal and neonatal mortality in Kano state.</p>
<p>They plan to offer services in antenatal and post natal care, family planning, care of the newborn as well as staff capacity building.</p>
<p>In his address the Kano State governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has pledged to support the hospital with theater equipments and brand new generator or solar system.</p>
<p>The governor revealed that he has since ordered the commissioner of health Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa to implement the project without further delay.</p>
<p>Mr Ganduje Also thank Mr Usman for his giant stride towards lots of people of Kano state.</p>
<p>Gidauniyar Alheri</p>
<p>The Gidauniyar Alheri Community Services was established on August 17th 2002 to address the challenges of poverty, illiteracy and inadequate health facilities facing the 10 wards of Gwale local government.</p>
<p>It was formally launch in October 2003 and registered as an incorporated trusteeship under the Corporate Affairs Commission.</p>
<p>It has three main subsidiaries, which include Gidauniyar Alheri Enterprises Development Center, Gidauniyar Alheri Microfinance Bank and Gidauniyar Alheri Community Health Center.</p>
