<p>In a statement signed by prominent and senior scholars in Kano such as Professor Musa Muhammad Borodo, Khalifa Sheikh Karibullah Sheikh Nasiru Kabara, Sheikh Abdulwahab Abdallah, Sheikh Ibrahim Shehu Maihula, Professor Muhammad Babangida, Dr Bashir Aliyu Umar, Imam Nasir Muhammad Adam and Dr Ibrahim Mu&#8217;azzam Maibushira distanced themselves from impeachment of Sheikh Ibrahim Khalil as the state chairman Council of Ulama.</p>

<p>Reports indicate that some section of Ulama addressed a press conference in Kano on Wednesday and appoint Professor Abdallah Sale Pakistan who is very friendly to Governor Ganduje&#8217;s Government as the new Chairman council of Ulama.</p>
